Extreme cold
Priority research zone, not proof of a bottom.
HOW TO USE NORTHSTAR
Northstar is not an automated trading tool and does not make conclusions for you. It organises public market data into a consistent research sequence, helping you identify what deserves further checking before you independently assess price, quality and risk.
SCORE SYSTEM 01
Temperature runs from 0 to 100. For US stocks, Hong Kong stocks, A shares and ETFs, a lower score means a relatively colder position that deserves further research. A higher score is hotter and should not be treated as a dip buying signal.
Priority research zone, not proof of a bottom.
Check fundamentals, announcements and stabilisation signs.
Worth watching, but not the highest priority.
Not a low price research zone. Return to the holding thesis.
Review risk. Do not mistake strength for safety.
The margin for chasing is narrower. Review position size first.
Risk is accumulating. It does not mean a top is immediate.
PERSONAL RADAR
Personal radar is saved with your account. It pulls the assets you genuinely care about out of the global scan so they can be reviewed separately. It is a research priority list, not an automated trading list.
At the top of the research room, enter a ticker, Chinese or English name. You can also select Add to my radar on any asset detail page.
Update my radar reads only the assets followed by your account, making a daily review faster and more focused.
When you see a cold or hot prompt, open the asset detail and check fundamentals, fund structure, announcements and your own position.
It describes the current relative price position. A low score is a research clue, not a reason to buy.
Scores above 80 warrant a risk and position review, but are not a sell instruction.
Crypto uses a separate time horizon and two models. Do not compare it directly with stock temperature scores.
DIP RESEARCH STARS
Stars are derived from temperature or crypto low price research strength. More stars only mean higher research priority. They are not a purchase probability or a return promise.
QUALITY SCORE
Quality scores organise public financial, valuation and cash flow data, or fund size, cost, performance, risk and diversification. They assess structure, not entry timing.
WORKFLOW
Use the global scan or personal radar to identify what deserves research or a risk review.
Open the asset page and understand why the current score appeared rather than relying on a single number.
Review the latest financial reports, company announcements, fund documents, exchange disclosures and material events.
Put cash needs, time horizon, existing exposure and acceptable loss ahead of any model score.
Cold assets can keep falling and hot assets can stay hot. Risk management matters more than calling tops or bottoms.
